A cornice board before treatment!
Our own Lurene Ulrich will be presenting "Designing with Magnets". Lurene owns New Outlook Interiors and most recently led a workshop in Atlanta at the ICWE Visions event. Her presentation will be a mini trunk show to spark your imagination and creativity. As our economy has changed more and more clients desire to reuse, refurbish or embellish their existing window treatments. The techniques shared will show unique ways this can be accomplished. We will meet at the Custom Home Furnishings Academy on June 3rd, at 6:30pm. The CHF is located in the South Lakes Business Park off of Carowinds Road. You don't want to miss it!

After - all done using magnets!
Hi, I am a student on Interior Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh online division. I am doing an assignment to answer "What factors I think make a creative soft window treatment" and while searching the web for creative window treatments I came across this photo. WOW, this is exactly what I think is a creative soft window treatment, the use of magnets, let alone the elegance of beaded trim, the use of a plush toy, the soft baby color palate, the ribon detailed flower/bow on the shags, the angular basket all work and the fact that it can grow with the child, very nice. I hope you do not mind that I am using this picture to do my assignment, I will give you credit and cite you and the wacc Charlotte chapter as my sourse of course. I just had to let you know that I love it! I just hope someday I also can be this creative.
